You can now pay your fines and fees online with your credit/debit card through JPL SmartPay.

Things you need to know:

• A library card number is required to make a payment.
• A Parish convience fee of $2 is required for all payments.
• Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards are accepted. Debit cards must have a Visa or MasterCard logo. Some financial institutions may place a preauthorization hold on your bank account when you use a debit card to pay. The Library does not have any control over that hold.
• Payments will be applied to your library account immediately.
• Credit card payments are not accepted by phone.
• No refunds can be made directly to your credit/debit card.
• Payments will appear as J.P. LIBRARY on your bank/credit card statement.
• Your bank/credit card statement is your receipt.
• We can provide a receipt at the time of the transaction if the fine is paid in person. Note: We do not require any signature.
• Contact us if you experience problems with an online payment.

How to Pay your Fines with a Credit Card

1. Login to your Library Account and click on the Fines Tab

2.  Click the Select All button or choose the fine(s) you wish to pay online.

3.  Click on JPL Propay Credit Card (Pay Now)

4.  Enter your credit/debit card information.

5.  Click Finish.
