The Jefferson Parish Library Master Plan is the result of a grant received by the Friends of the Jefferson Public Library from SOLINET, with funds coming from a $12.2 million Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation donation to help Katrina-damaged libraries along the Gulf Coast in Louisiana and Mississippi.
