	LIVE OAK LIBRARY reopened Monday, November 20th.

	Brief Description:	Visitors to the reopened Live Oak Library will immediately notice a customer-oriented interim layout and an expanded number of public access computers, more than double those available pre-Katrina. An exciting new feature is the addition of a DVD section. Free WiFi access has been added, and other design improvements to enhance the user’s experience are planned. Live Oak Library serves four elementary schools and one junior high school.

	Directions:	Located at 125 Acadia Dr. off River Road in Waggaman, Live Oak Library is set among a grove of huge oak trees over 100 years old trees in Thomas Jefferson Park. The library, which opened in 1989, was designed in the style of an Acadian-style cottage.
